For Holiday 2014, one of the main stories for Skagen product and marketing was the winter weather, more specifically, “ice”. The product team needed a custom pattern that would work for various products.
Inspired by the perfect imperfection of nature and architecture, I pitched various concepts, mood boards and designs, until we landed here. The pattern was used on stationery gifting product (which I also designed the product & packaging for) as well as various leather hand bags, small leather goods and tech product (Apple™ & Android™). The pattern was also used to pull the story together in digital marketing (gift guide landing page, blog post and emails).

Product: Ella (platform name) leather fold over bag, can be worn 4 ways (clutch, crossbody, shoulder bag, satchel - held by the handle).
Holiday Gift Wrap & Gift Tag Stamp Set: designed the gift wrap packaging and accompanying purchasable stamp and tag set. As the Danish Star was the overall seasonal story and “ice” was just a moment, I had to find a way to tie in the star graphic with the ice pattern. I accentuated the geometric shapes with tonal gray & foil prints on a metallic paper to add texture.
Custom notebook design (concept, mechanicals, sample management through production). Silver foil debossed chip board front and back cover with white shimmery, metallic paper interior cover, college ruled pages, unique graphic-inspired numbered calendar (circle the dates), ribbon page marker and matching elastic closure and pen holder around the book cloth spine.
Custom card set design (concept, mechanicals, sample management through production). Silver foil debossed paper cards and packaging with white shimmery, metallic paper individual envelopes with silver metallic closure stickers.
